Inflation Calculator advice

I am wondering if anyone can help with the below:

I am putting together an inflation calculator for a cost model

I am needing the table to produce prices adjusted for inflation.

For example, the user would input the year the item was purchased in the original price field (EG 2004) and in the adjusted price field adjacent it would produce the price in todays (2014) money.
