is there a way to put an information box when a workbook is activated to say " please answer all questions" "press (y) to proceed" I dont want them to just hit enter when a question pops up (it messes up the sheet) thanks in advance for the help

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.

It depends on how you are asking the question, but you can disable the OK button until they answer the question. Like this:

Code:
If TextBox1.Text = "" Then
   CommandButton1.Enabled = False
Else
   CommandButton1.Enabled = True
End If
