I know that I can trap the activeworkbook name and path in VB, but I have an application where I want to let the users know the dates of the files that have been involved in a particular process so that they know whether it was using last month's version or this month's etc.

Is there anyway to get other information about a workbook like time and date it was created, last saved, created by and last saved by for example

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Yup, indeed there is.

Use the following code:

Code:
ActiveWorkbook.BuiltinDocumentProperties("Last Save Time")

Replace the "Last Save Time" to any other of the attributes below.
