If a cell shows present can there be an inbuilt value that if YES is selected it shows YES but the value that is picked up from here is say 8 hours?

The issue is that I do not wish to complicate the file and show th homework that a file is doing to the users.
If the attendance of a person is YES, the value that should be picked up from this cell should be 8 that is the rostered hours. If No then it should pick up the value of O.
