Insert 0 in blank cells

I don't have much experience with Excel. I have a large spreadsheet with many blank cells. I want to insert a zero in every blank cell. I tried some IF statements, but they were not successful. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you on a laptop OR a Mac ?
If you have the Developer Tab in Excel, click on it, then click on the Visual Basic Buttton( far left on my copmuter)

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Hmm, I wonder if those blanks are 'real' blanks?
See if this manual method does what you want
  1. Select B4 down column B to the end of your data
  2. Press F5 -> Special... -> Blanks -> OK
  3. Type 0 and confirm with Ctrl+Enter

Agreed, The terminology referring to a formula by the OP gave me the impression it was a formula issue to start with....?
