I am trying to insert a sheet into an existing workbook. But I get an error that says:
"Excel cannot insert the sheets into the destination workbook, because it contains fewer rows and columns than the source workbook. To move or copy the data to the destination workbook, you can select the data and then use the copy and paste commands to insert it inot the sheets of another workbook."
I understand what this means, although I would like to know if anyone knows an easy solution so that the sheet can be inserted instead of having to use copy/paste.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
If you are trying to do this from an Excel 2007+ workbook to a 2003- workbook you will first need to save (maybe a copy) of the 2007+ workbook in 97-2003format.
