Hello all,

Before I ask you anything, here is a short summary of what I am doing:

I am designing a job shop scheduling app. in Excel for a Make-to-Order company.
With this it should be possible for them to make a proper production plan based on delivery dates and priority rules.
Every Item they produce has a specific routing (e.g. Item 101 knows 3 operations and "visits" machine 1, 2 and 4)
At the moment the user/planner has to specify the routing manually.

Here is an example of my problem:

I am using Excel 2007 on Windows 7 OS.

As you may have realized; I am not a programmer, but a jr. IT Business Consultant who has a lot to learn

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Jesper

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
