I have a table in excel that I would like to have a new row inserted and a sequential number advanced when the radio button is pressed. The sequential number will be comprised of today's date mmddyyyy concatinated with a 3 digit sequential number.

I have been able to program the button but unable to have it insert rows or advance the sequential number.

Thank you,

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
I'm not clear why you want to insert a row rather than using the next empty row. If you can do the latter, you can use a formula to give you the date/sequential number in column A below, as soon as something is entered into column B.

Formula in A8, copied down, is: =IF(B8=0,"",TEXT(TODAY(),"mm/dd/yyyy")&" "&MID(A7,12,4)+1)

Insert new row and sequential number to tbl"

Actually I do want the next empty row once the "Get/Assign New Number" button is selected. Does that make a difference in your code? I also do not want anyone to be able to change the previous entries in the row above.

The fields I want are: NCR#, assigned to, date, issue description, month.

Thank you!
