I am putting together a price list in excel and using images and hyperlinks to jazz it up a bit - what I am finding is that if I insert a 25KB GIF image, the excel file grows in size by over 100KB - why is this disproportionate growth happening and is there a way around it - I dont want my Price List growing too large but need the images....?

can you create the sheet to a PDF before sending it?

Or does it need to be editable?

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
It does not need to be editable (in fact I am locking it down) but there are URL links to other sheets within the workbook - I dont have Acrobat Writer.....

URLs remain clickable as well - Just tested

Without any watermarks as well

The layout and size of the spreadsheet does not really lend itself to be a PDF doc - it's difficult to explain why but it just doesn't......
