Hi,

I am trying to develop a worksheet to do a daily production report. I is protected so that the user doesn't accidentally delete a formula. I have made it with 15 rows that the user can input their data but from time to time they will need to insert new rows at the bottom. The formulas are located in columns I, J, K, L, N, O, P. Columns O and P are hidden. All formulas need to work for their respective rows except column P which is a static time value of 12 midnight. I have tried to record a macro but the results are always less than useful.

Recap.
Locked worksheet
Insert rows below the last row used.
Carry over formulae
Column P needs to remain static time value.

Any help here would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Hi Filmo,

Welcome to the group.

Hope you are aware of Format table.

Use format table, no need to drag down the formulas....

As when as new entry is made, formulas gets inserted & calculated automatically...

Hi mgm05267,

Thanks for your reply. Your solution seems to work for unprotected worksheets only. I need to keep the worksheet protected so the user will not accidentally delete any of the formulae.

Cheers,

Filmo.
