I use Microsoft Excel 2007.
I have a database from SQL Server....

I want to insert some data from a table of my database to Excel file....
Now i choose data, insert from other sources and then insert from sql server and finally i insert my table with all entries to excell and everything is ok.....

My question is if i can choose only 3 colums i want to insert to excel and not all the table???? Can i write some code to excel for that???? Is this possible??? I dont wanna mess with queries in SQL Server...
Can this file refresh every time i put some new records in my database???

Click Data - Import External Data - New Database query.

You will get the option to run through the wizard to select which fields you want to import. You will need to create a new data source to connect to your sql server.
