inserting data into sheet

i would like to know how to take a table from one excel doc and insert it into a section of another document, preferably using a single link. i tried the hyperlink but it opens it in a new page, i need it to essentially become part of the document.

any help would be great

Are you wanting the table to update as the other table updates?

Maybe you can copy the table, go to your other sheet and go to edit-->paste special and select Link.
