inserting line macro

i want to be able to create a macro on my speadsheet to insert a row, but when the row is inserted i want the formular in my total to change to include the new row. how do i do this? someone please help me urgently!

welcome to the board.....

you could do the following:
- name the range you would like to calculate the total.
- make your formula like this =sum("namedrange")
- record a macro (through Tools --> Macro --> Record Macro) and insert a row...
- at last you could add a button and apply the macro to it...
