I need to paste a row of 1 column data to another worksheet, so once
the data is copied I need an input box to asked the user for cell ref
& then paste to that ref.

Cheers in advance.

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
sub test

Windows("workbook1.xls").activate
Sheets("sheet1").range("a1:A65000").copy

Windows("workbook2.xls").activate

PASTEAREA = InputBox("please enter the cell reference of the paste location","PASTE LOCATION")

Sheets("sheet1").select
Range(pastearea).pastespecial xlpastevalues

end sub
