I am using the below code to find a string withing another string, but it finds some and misses a lot.

v="deloitte"
v1="apc deloitte touche"
v2="apc deloitte touche"

What am I doing wrong? Is there a better way?

If InStr(1, v, v1, 1) > 0 Or InStr(1, v, v2, 1) > 0 Then

Thanks,

Esteban

You reversed your parameters... try

If InStr(1, v1, v, 1) > 0 Or InStr(1, v2, v, 1) > 0 Then
