Insufficient Resources

I am using Windows 7 and office 2010 and have 4GB of RAM (3.22 unesed). Whenever I have a few workbooks open and try to open up another a mesage comes up "Insufficient resources"

I had the same problem when I had office 2007

It would be appreciated if someone could assist me
