Interest Calculation

Hi,

Here is details of interest and amount. Suppose compounding is done on Mar 31, and Sept 30 every year
Can something be done in excel (through macro or any formulas or functions, so that interest will be calculated and cumulative balance as on date will be calculated automatically ?
Assume rate of interest 6% per annum
