hi,
i have a main sheet.....and several other sheets.....
in my main sheet, i have a formula like this:

=* *B7
i then would like to have a combo box where i could select the sheet name and * * would be filled with that sheet....so that B7 is looked up from that particular sheet! does that make sense to anyone?

so that if the user choses sheet5, the formula becomes =(sheet5!B7)

please help! :)

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.

Sounds like you want an INDIRECT worksheet function.

=INDIRECT(A1 & "!B7")

Where A1 holds the sheet name.
