Hi,
I need to build a sheet with several formula's. No problem. But,
I'm working with the dutch XL version and for example, one of these sheets will go to one of our clients in Germany. (I don't know his XL language).
What will happen with the formula's ? Does XL translate them when our client opens the file ? Can I expect some error messages ?

Regards,

Formulas with built-in functions do get automatically translated to the language of the target system.

Hi Bruno,

I work with French Excel at work and English Excel at home. Formulae get automatically translated (the file doesn't change - the regional versions of Excel will display the formulae differently).

Probably you'll not have any problems at all.

Differences in CSV format will under certain circumstances pose difficulties. (; separator instead of ,) but in your case I think it's uniformly European.

Hope this helps,

Dave.

Aladin, Dave,
Thanks for the answers,
I'll try to avoid macro's - if possible.
Anyone experience with macro's ?
