Internet automation 'P' Tag text field

Hi,

I'm trying to populate a text field on a webpage; it looks like this:

Using Chrome's element inspector I've determined the associated code to be:

The debug message is never printed and the text doesn't show up in the field
It also doesn't throw an error.

Sometimes it takes a little longer for the page to load. So try waiting a few seconds before assigning collection to objCollection. You can use Application.Wait to do so.

By the way, you may be able to refer to the desired element like this...

IE.document.getElementById("tinymce").getElementsByTagName("p")(0).innerText = "It worked!"

First and foremost, thank you very much for the reply!
That seems like a way cleaner approach to find an element; thank you!

I did some searching around the web, and it turns out 'tinymce' text fields are in javaScript;
which you can populate by using .execScript.
I also discovered the text field is within an iframe,
so I first need to acces this iframe before I can manipulate the tinymce text field.

I'm new to VBA let alone automating internet with it, so these concepts were all new to me.

So here's more of the context;
Green is the iframe and pruple is the 'tinymce' text field element:

I tried this code (modified version of what I found online):

IE.Document.parentWindow.execScript "tinyMCE.activeEditor.setContent('" & "It worked!" & "');", "javaScript"

The text: 'It Worked!' did show up in one of the text fields on the webpage, just not the one I wanted.

There are 5 of these exact text fields on the page, all in their own iframe and with the 'tinymce' id.
I realise 'parentWindow' probably selected a different iframe.

I discovered you can use this to select an iframe:

But the only thing that's different across all these iframes is the id, and I don't see a name attribute.
