Hi,

Just putting up this thread to introduce myself.

I'm 24 and I've been working for a major insurance company as an analyst for about a year now.

I've been using excel for about 4 years, however it wasn't until recent that I decided to learn VBA. I've been reading through Bill Jelen's "VBA and Macros for Microsoft Excel" and it has been very easy to understand and apply.

I've already written some macros to help out my manager with some of her tasks and I've pretty much become the go to guy for excel questions.

I came to this forum to better my knowledge and just after browsing for the past hour I've learnt so much.

Just wanted to say I'm happy this site exists.

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)

I didn't think to search for current members with names similar to mine...

I should change it to "Forum Noob"

Check with Smozgur or Starl about changing your username I would assume if you want.

And Welcome to the Board!

I can change it, too! Although we'd rather minimize this.

Welcome, welcome. :)

Welcome to the board!

Ah yes, this thread brings back memories of the 'Newhart' televsion show:

"Hi, I'm Larry, this is my brother Darryl, and this is my other brother Darryl."

Take care.
