What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Try compacting and repairing the database. You may need to do it more than once.

Then, takes steps to avoid corruption -- the Invalid Argument error is one of the signs that things may be about to go wrong.

1. If you haven't already done it, split the database into a front and back end.
2. Set the database to compact on close.
3. Make regular backups of the front end and the back end. You will need to do this separately.
