Whenever I run a query (any query) and try to save it I get an invalid argument error?

HELP!!!!

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
The query does not matter I get it no matter what I do :(

Invalid argument. (Error 3001)
You tried to perform an operation that involves a routine in a DLL, and one of the arguments to the routine is invalid. Check your entry to make sure you have specified the correct arguments, and then try the operation again.

This error also occurs when you attempt to use mutually exclusive constants in an argument to a method, such as specifying both dbConsistent and dbInconsistent in the options argument to the OpenRecordset method.

Is the data in directly in the Access database, or are you linking to it (if so, where does it reside)?

Are you using any special functions in the query?

Did the queries ever work in this database?

Can you post the SQL code of your query?

At the very least, I would try to compact & repair the database.

have you compacted the database recently? I've gotten that error when my db's start to get near the 2GB limit.
