Hello All..
I'm attempting to do LINK TABLES though ODBC to an Oracle Table. The table (Table1) in oracle has a field in it (Field1) that has a a data type of "SDO_Geometry". I have no clue what this is... and to be honest, i don't care. I dont use FIELD 1, some other department does.
ANyway... My problem. I try to create the link I get
"Invalid Field Definition {field name} in definition of index or relationship"
My guess is that Access has no clue what to do with the data type SDO_Geometry". Is there any way to set up this link and tell acces to ignore Field1 all together?
I've tried importing the table, but get the same error. Importing is not really an option, the table is is over 10 million records and I really don't want to eat up my hard drive with that much data.
ANy idea how I can get around the Invalid Fiedl Def?
Thanks
