Here we go again. You would think at some point in time happiness is forever. I have created an excellent invoice program and have developed and tweaked it so my customer list has expanded to over 60, the next invoice number is generated, all of the information needed is written to a register and the invoice is saved as a PDF into its separate folder. I locked the invoice so using the tab keeps the data entry flowing perfectly however, I need more!
When going through the register discussing the work completed I have to then go to the folder and look for the invoice then open the PDF; I want to be able to click on the invoice number and have the PDF open without doing all of the other steps.
I have read about hyperlinks but when excel writes to the register I want it already linked to the new file and not have to go back and create a hyperlink for each invoice.
My files are stored on Google drive so I can create invoices from any of my computers.
