Is there any way to lock the column width, i had tried Format > Column > Standard Width but couldn't seem to work, please help

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
You could protect the entire sheet? Is that what you mean?

i had tried Format > Column > Standard Width but couldn't seem to work.

Hi there

Without protection, if you increase the font size the column is likely to increase in width to fit it. You might try selecting all cells and formatting them (Alignment tab) so that text will shrink to fit.
