Hi

I have this dataset for many organisations which I put into a pivot in excel and created a slicer dashboard with tables etc.
so each organization cancan filter on theirs and double click pivot tables to get their data -
But now I have been told I need to create this so that each organization cant see the actual data behind the charts/tables.

Is it possible to lock down the data to each organization? or would I have to maybe change my idea of a slicer dashboard to something that can be locked down more?

thanks
appreciate any advice on this

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Depending on your needs and the amount of data in your dashboard:

1) Tell them to flick to your pivot tables tab to see the data behind them. Or change your dashboard so that the pivot table is shown alongside your graph?

2) add data labels to your graphs by rightcklicking the series and choose "Add data labels" --> this will mean that you have the data behind the charts/tables incorporated

If that doesn't help...

3) In case background information is required that is not included in your pivot tables, record a macro that will filter the appropriate columns in your master data. Are you familiar with VBA?
