Hello,

I currently have office 2003 on my work pc where I use excel quite often. I need to get office 2010 for part of my work, but also need 2003 for another part of my work.

Is it possible/safe to have both office 2003 AND office 2010 on my computer? If so, what is the safest way to go about this?

Thanks!

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Yes - make sure you install the oldest version first (shouldn't be a problem for you) and you can only have one version of Outlook. Also, install to separate folders.
I have 2003, 2007 and 2010 installed on my work machine.

Rory -

The 2010 beta messed up the VBA editor in earlier versions. Has this been fixed in the production version?

Hi Jon,
Yes - there's none of the gobbledygook appearing that the beta had. I think it was actually fixed in the RC version in fact.

Rory...so I already have Office 2003 installed in my current laptop...if I buy office 2010 and install it into a different folder...I should be able to use both versions without any issues?

Since my last post I've installed 2010 on top of the 2003 and 2007 which were already there. Nothing funny yet.
