Hello

I would like to change pivot values or filters using a dynamic value of a separate cell.

So for example I can put in a cell '1' or '2' and the pivot will filter accordingly or calculate some fields accordingly.

Is that possible? I only know that it needs to click refresh or it can be set to update every specific time interval.

Btw, I would need NO VBA!

Thanks!

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
You will need to have VBA in order for you to control a Pivot Table in the way you are describing.

However, you can toss the Pivot Table and create a formula based summary that can be as dynamic as you would like without the use of VBA.
