Hello

I have data in this format:

PRODUCTDATEPRICE
Product1
01/01/2000
1000
Product2
02/01/2000
1001
Product3
03/01/2000
1002
Product1
04/01/2000
1003
Product2
05/01/2000
1004
Product3
06/01/2000
1005
Product1
07/01/2000
1006
Product2
08/01/2000
1007
Product3
09/01/2000
1008
Product1
10/01/2000
1009
Product2
11/01/2000
1010

Is it possible to graph the above without transforming the data so that:
x = dates
y = prices
series/legend = Product1, Product2, Product3

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Hi

The easy way is to sort the data by Product and then create an XY Chart with each Product's Date & Price as a separate series

If you don't want to sort then you will still have to create a series by product, but this time by selecting each Product's Date & Price as non-contiguous ranges

See Pic - Hope it's helpful
