Is it possible to tell Excel NOT to display #VALUE! in a cell that has a formula in it?

I have a sheet which is locked, all bar a couple of columns for input. The cells in the locked columns display this all the way down to the last cell when waiting for an answer to be displayed, but it is hellishly ugly to see it like this. Is it possible for nothing to be displayed in those cells until something is input, thus triggering the formula?

cheers

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Use

=IFERROR(yourformula,"")
cheers Steve

The difficulty is, some of the formulas are very complex and the worst offender, which is not as complex, has "" already in it. Excel returns too many arguments when I add the formula.

Apologies, should have posted the code initially. It is =IF(N19<35,"", O19)

cheers

You have an error in one of those other cells then but

=IFERROR(IF(N19<35,"",O19),"")

you put your formula in where i said yourformula but without the = sign.

Thanks so much for your reply. I think I may have missed the , before "", as when I tried it again, it worked fine
Thanks again
