Is it possible to paste a worksheet with macros into an outlook email and have the recipient use the functionality in that worksheet?

Hi,

I have workbook used within our company for estimating job values.

Before building an estimate a user would have to submit a form to the bid approver in order to get approval to build the estimate.

The user submits this form using a button linked to a macro at the bottom of the page, the bid approver is then sent an email notifying them that their approval is needed before an estimate can be built.

The bid approver then goes into the workbook and approves or rejects the estimate.

This functionality works perfectly, however I was wondering if it was possible for the excel worksheet that needs the approval to be pasted into the outlook message, so that the bid approver can approve or reject the estimate from outlook without opening the workbook?

The Bid approver accepts or rejects the bid using buttons linked to macros within the workbook.

Thank You.

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
I don't think outlook supports DDE, so then the answer is no.

No. You could attach the worksheet but the recipient would have to open it to interact with it.
