Anyone know if dmin function is volatile?

More specifically if one were to use a formula for criteria with a blank column identifier versus an identified column/criteria does dmin become volatile? Having volatile type recalc/performance issues in a large worksheet with dmin criteria specified by formulas.

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
No.

It would only become volatile if it contained another volatile function within it. It will also become volatile if any range reference contains a volatile function, so long as it is actually executed.

DB is all fixed values, non volatile named range: h!$K$28:$V$22199

Criteria Header Column in ASV25 is blank
Criteria is specified by formula in ASV26: =AND($R29<=$ASV$24,$U29>$ASW$27))
Dmin Database function in ASV27: =DMIN(DB,11,ASV25:ASV26))

There are approximately 100 lookups in columns ASA - AVV.

Do database functions allow multiple criteria to be specified by formula?
Documentation is thin on this subject and just states any formula that is true or false.
