Is the sheet blocked?

Hi Folks,
I 'm doing a very simple summation that is:
$81,919
17,916
206,248
by using =sum(a1:a3)
but every time I hit enter, I get 0 instead of $306,083. Any security problem or unknown blocakge which I'm not aware off?
Any help will be appreciated.

Are the numbers actually text?

What do you get with =A1+A2+A3 ?

no there are not. I checked the format of each cell.

Checking the format of each cell does not necessarily reveal that the numbers are actually text.

What do you get with:

=ISNUMBER(A1)

Infact, this hseet which I'm wroking on, has the formulas and calc, but the moment I mimic the same, its turns to 0. seems like some security check is ther.
Any suggestion or help will be greatly appreciated.

when I did that =ISNUMBER(A1)...it say TRUE.

Folk,
infact, any refrence, any summation, multiplication, addition, subtraction is given out the resuly 0. Any suggestion why the sheet is acting like that?
