Is there a keyboard shortcut for merging selected cells

Normally on the formatting toolbar there is an icon which will do this automatically.

It is usually positione immediately to the right of the 'Align Right' icon. It is a white square, marked with lines for squares and an 'a' in the centre.

Should it not be there use <Tools><Customize><Commands> to add the icon to the tool bar.
