Is there a solution?

Hello all, I am looking for a way to print several workbooks that also have embedded Word Documents in them. Each individual workbook has VB Code tied to a command button that prints the worksheet and the entire contents of the embedded word document. The issue is that I have alot of individual workbooks and I was hoping to create a master file of sorts that would allow my boss to go in and print all the workbooks from one location instead of having to open each workbook up individually and hit the print button I have put on each workbook. Is this possible. I have tried several different things but this is just beyond my level of VB familiarity. I am using Excel 2010 and saving the workbooks as Macro-Enabled Workbooks.

I am willing to provide a copy of one of the workbooks but do not know how to include it with this post.

Thanks!

Lee

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
The easiest way would be to record a macro of you going and pushing all the buttons on the worksheets. Then create a new button on a main page, and link the new macro to that button.

It used to be limited to the same workbook, but I just did a test between two open workbooks in Excel 2007 and it registered the switch between the documents. So you're probably in good shape with the macro recorder and cleaning up the code.

Will all the workbooks have to be open in order for it to work? There are about 50 workbooks that I need printed with the embedded word doc.

If it does work with the workbook closed could I just record the macro using two workbooks and then replicate the generated code in the VB editor instead of recording me going to every workbook?

Yes, that is what I would do: try it with two or three files. Clean up the code in the macro editor. Test. Then rinse & repeat the code lines as many times as needed (with right file name obviously) for all other files.
