Is there a way to compare pictures in two different workbooks.

I have a workbook as a baseline which contains pictures in it. Next time I generate a new workbook with the same data which I will be saving it as generated one.

I need to compare whether the two workbooks matches or not.

If it has only the textual data then its fine.

In this scenario, I have pictures in it.
The pictures are embedded in the Cell, the height and width remain the same in both the workbooks.[This includes order also]

If anyone can point to the right direction that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

hello Madgulakrishna,

The way I would recommend is to open both workbooks. In the first workbook in the view tab there is button near the top right call "View side by side" which allows you to open two workbooks in one excel window.

Just make sure after you've hit the button to restore down the inner window in the top right (Very important to restore down the INNER window and not the outer window) otherwise you won't be able to see it and just be restoring down the whole excel workbook.

Once you've done that you can tailor the size of the two windows and compare.

To help with this as well is a small button just below the "View side by side" which allows you to scroll both windows simultaneously. This helps compare

Hope this helped

Kind Regards

Charles
