I created a chart but can't find it. Is there a way to find charts? It just has a generic name like "Chart1", "Chart2" etc. I thought maybe the selection pane would help. On it i've tried selecting or double-clicking the objects that are listed, but nothing really happens when selecting an object in that pane. Nothing is brought into the visible window, say. So this does not seem to help me find a lost chart.

Any other suggestions?

Note that the workbook has many charts and the used cell area is over 10,000 rows.

Thanks!

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
how do you plan on identifying the "correct chart" ?
( do you want to look at each one in turn until you see something you recognise ? )
( do you know something unique about the chart that can be used to automate the search ? )

do you know which sheet it is in ?

VBA would probably be the easiest method
