Every month we add certain things to a file then hide the old months. I am writing something that will used the latest month but in order to be able to use that i need to find a way to tell the program which row to use and the common monthly way would be to use the row after the last hidden one.

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Try looping through all of the rows in the UsedRange, backwards. Worksheet.UsedRange is a rectangular range containing all of the data on a worksheet. Start at the last row of that range and work backwards, testing to see if the Range.Hidden property of the row is true. If so, the row number is the last hidden row. Increment by one, and you have your answer.

Of course, it might be that UsedRange is all you need. Just find the last row of that, and increment by one.
