Is there an easier way to write this formula?

=IF(G20>=1,G20+G19+G18+G17+F21+F20+F19+F18+F17,0)

I have been having problems when I put it this way it wont add the two columns.
=IF(G20>1,G20:G17,F17:F21,0)

Thanks for your help...

That helped out so much thanks...
The only problem is that I dont want empty cells to show up as a number I want them to show up as a Zero or nothing.

Ok I figured it out, I had the wrong numbers in the wrong cells... Sorry...
That helped a bunch....
