Is there something similar to [=A1], but where when I delete A1, I won't lose my values?

Column A contains all my data.

I want to create a report in columns B-E, then delete column A.

Setting cell values like this [=A1] doesn't work. When I delete column A, I lose my report.

Is there something similar to [=A1], but where when I delete A1, I won't lose my values?

Thanks, Paul.

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
You will need to copy and paste values only.
Select everything (you want to stay static) then right click select paste special:values
That should do the trick

Or you could create the report on a seperate tab and reference the first tab. Then you don;t need to delete anything

Thanks, I appreciate the super fast reply!!!

Either one of these should work for what I'm trying to do.
