I am wondering if it is possible or if a formula exists that will evaluate two sheets and search for matching terms in one column and matching dates in another column on two separate sheets and then count them as 1 entry?
What I have is 2 people sending me similar data out of 2 separate databases and I'm trying to match them up via a formula and count them as 1 unique data set and remove the physical searching and matching. The data that is being presented to me comes in different text strings, please see the images below of how I get the data. The like terms I would be trying to match up would be "Assault" and "Assaultive" with the supporting dates and ultimately count this as 1 event on another sheet.
