Sheet1.Cells(irow, iLPCol) = Application.Right(lastprice2, 3) + Application.Left(lastprice2, 2)

just checking this is the correct way to write it

Looks good to me - because Left and Right are members of Globals you don't need to qualify with the Application reference so the following is equally applicable:

If you want to concatenate them

Code:
Sheet1.Cells(irow, iLPCol).Value = Right(lastprice2, 3) & Left(lastprice2, 2)
