Is this the book for me?

I am currently using Excel 10 for Mac on Mac O/S 10. I need to know how to write and edit macros (since some of what I need can't be "recorded" in a macro). Does this book have what I need? I've not written macros since I recorded them in Lotus "back in the day". :D

Does it explain, for example, how to write code so that the user could select the file to import data from rather than it being hardcoded? Or what macro commands will work on a Mac but not on a PC? Thank you for any advice you have to offer!

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
There are three chapters of VBA examples, but nothing specific for a Mac.

I use Excel 2002 at work where I do all my hard-core Excel stuff (extensive formulas and now VBA). At home I use Excel 2001 on OS 9.2.2. I have tried a little at home, and while there are variations, it basically works the same. Seems that there are a few call procedures that are different, but can't give specifics right now.
