# ISERROR Question

This formula keeps giving me an error and I don't understand why.

IF(ISERROR(C16/(B16/B17),0,C16/(B16/B17)

It looks like it should work.

### Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
The problem is parenthetical:

=IF(ISERROR(C16/(B16/B17)),0,C16/(B16/B17))

I used the double )) behind the first (B16/B17) but not the second.
I will remember to do this in all future formulas.

Thank you very much for yout help.

IF(ISERROR(C16/(B16/B17)),0,C16/(B16/B17))
