I am currently importing data where the date is set as YYYYMMDD with no space between it. Is there a way to convert it to MM/DD/YYYY? Trying to do this for an entire column of dynamic data.

There are no spaces between the numbers and they read as 20220513.

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Select the column with the dates, then on the data tab, text to columns, delimited, next, clear all checkboxes, next select YMD for the date, finish.

Hi,

Assuming imported dates are in column B. use below formula to change in date format.

Excel Formula:
=DATE(LEFT(B1,4),MID(B1,5,2),RIGHT(B1,2))

Then change the cell format
Thanks,
Saurabh
