Iterations/circular reference - #REF

Hi,

I have a problem and can't seem to get out of it. I built a model which uses two circular references and is solved through iterations. This worked very well, now I changed the model (other inputsheet, just a hard value paste since structure is the same.

Everything is pulled correctly, except for the fact where I have the iteration it gives the value for a second and then all the cells with the iteration turn #REF.

Has anyone had that problem or heard of it and knows how to solve it? Would be very much appreciated!

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
using iterations on circular references can be a way of repeatedly recalculating a sheet until an acceptable answer is found

In this case it sounds like Excel was unable to find an acceptable answer, perhaps because there now is a genuine #REF! error in your model

I would guess the reason you briefly see a result is because you are either opening the workbook or making some significant change, and it takes a moment to recalculate

You could try breaking the circular reference, and then testing the model for errors. Assuming there are none found, think about whether your iteration loop should genuinely be able to calculate an answer
