I'm trying to join 2 date fields gether into one cell as in the example below. So in the last column, I want it to say "03/17/11 - 04/13/11". When I use =[@[Episode Start]]&" - "&[@[Episode End]] this is the reult I get and I cannot format it into date formats. What am I doing wrong?

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Welcome to the board...
You need to use the Text function...

=TEXT(A2,"mm/dd/yy") & " - " & TEXT(B2,"mm/dd/yy")

A2 = start date
B2 = end date

Hope that helps.
