Joining lines between data points

I have 3 sets of data points on a line graph (Excel 2007). The data points appear on the graph but no connecting lines?
 

Excel Facts

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)

Maybe the lines are hidden?

Select the series and add a colour to the line.

Remark:

You should always post your excel version.

The lines aren't hidden. The original data was monthly and the data had to be changed to quarterly. That's when the line disappearred.
BTW, the version is given in the opening post of this thread.

That's strange. Anyway, did you check the line color in the series format? Is it Solid? Not equal to the plot area background?

There wasn't a line present at all. However I worked out that if I right click and press Select Data and press the 'Hidden and Empty Cells' button and select the third option down 'Connect data points with line', it worked.
