Hi Folk,

This may seem like a crazy question. I am wanting to join two charts together.

That is, I have a Gantt chart, reflecting progress over tome, using stacked bar and I have a rainfall chart where I use a scatter chart with curves. The measurement of the rainfall is shown in the vertical axis on the right of the lower chart.

I have treid using a combo chart option, and played with secondary and primary options to no success.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can acomplish this process?

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
try drag lower chart onto upper chart

test on copy not original
Hi Sandy, Thanks for the prompt reply - I have tried that but it messes all the formatting up and hence me playing with the primary and secondary options, to no success.

sometimes it works, but you need to play with scales.
this is not golden advice :geek:
